Blessed Is The Nation - 2 Chronicles 7:14
It is sheer folly to suppose that the strength and security of America lies in its vast
economic resources... industrial prowess... scientific ingenuity -- diplomatic skill
or military might.
The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong.
Our real defense as a nation rests in the spiritual convictions, character
and commitment of our citizens.
David discovered that fact and declared: "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses:
but we will remember the name of the Lord our God
."

Threats To America - Proverbs 14:34
There is no group of people in all the world who have been so free, as we are in America.
We are ruled by the principles of a republic.
Most of the people who have ever lived have lived in slavery.
In this republic we are free.
The two concepts that are the basis of a sound republic are patriotism and faith
in the Lord God.
Remove God from a society and it is unfit in which to live.

What Is America? - Jeremiah 8:4-6
Religious liberty stands first in the Bill of Rights.
It is most essential for it is the foundation of all the other freedoms.
Take that away, and eventually, all of our freedoms crumble.
The plea of the church today is not that people should call upon God to bless our nation.
God has abundantly blessed our nation.
Our message must be that we should return to God, and then, we will be blessed.

Let Freedom Ring - Leviticus 25:10
In past years throughout the United States, at high noon on July the fourth,
bells were rung.
This July the fourth will be celebrated in towns and cities throughout our land
to remind us of the sacrifices, character, ideas, ideals, and faith,
which have gone into the making of our national history.
The sound of bells and all the celebrations call us back to that meaningful day
on July 4, 1776, when our nation was born.

The Cost Of Liberty - Matthew 11:28-30
We need old-fashioned Americans with a new-found determination
to do their part to make democracy work.
As concerned as I am about our nation, I am more concerned and committed
to a kingdom that "is not of this world," whose head is Jesus Christ.
Commit your lives, your fortunes, and your sacred honor to the greatest cause
of all -- helping the lost and helpless millions to place their hope in Jesus Christ.
This is a hope that will allow them to enter a heavenly kingdom where
they can rest from their labors.

A Great Heritage - Psalm 85
To make America the great land that it is, fifty-six Americans pledged their lives,
their fortunes, and their sacred honor.
It was no idle pledge.
Their fortunes were forfeit, but their honor was not.
Their honor, like the nation, remained intact.
These men died, and most are almost forgotten by their countrymen.
This does not really matter; what does matter is that we remember that freedom comes high.

Will God Bless American? - Psalm 33
Over two hundred years ago, the United States was born as a nation.
Because of our nation's strong belief in God, the nation rapidly grew in population and power.
It is the world's only superpower.
God has blessed the U.S.A.
How much longer will He continue to bless us?

Covenant With God - Genesis 17:7
In a covenant, each side makes a promise to the other.
Each commits himself to the other.
These covenants with Jehovah were made by our founders.
They believed all people received their inalienable rights to life, liberty
and the pursuit of happiness from God.
